Editor's Review of Lava Life

Lavalife has been around for quite a while now and has at one point been one of the top dating sites. It recently went through a site revamp updating the look and adding some extra freatures. The site is still free to join, but they now make it mandatory for you to upload a profile photo and fill out parts of your profile before you can begin browsing through the site. They have also increased their membership prices for their 3 and 6 month subscriptions.

If you already had an account on Lavalife.com prior to the revamp they kept the basic part of your profile however you will still need to add more to it with the new added profile descriptions before you can begin browsing as well.

The site still has a clean and easy to use layout. Prior to the revamp we found there to be a lot of scammers on the site, however by making profile images mandatory it appears that they are trying to weed out the scammers this way as we did not find as many as before.
