More than just a dating site, Badoo aims to be a social network for meeting new friends as well. Badoo has a large member base. My search for local members returned a good selection of matches.

A great security feature that they offer to members is that they can get their profiles to display a verified status by getting their phone numbers and Facebook verified. If you are really serious about finding someone you can pay an additional fee to get to the top of the search results or appear on the top of local member’s pages. 

Overall Badoo.com is a great site that offers a lot of communication features at a reasonable price.
