I recently wrote IE administration with feedback on quality and experience (2015). It has improved considerably since 2011/2012 and as a male I'm really enjoying married dating once again. I used IE and Ashley Madison in late 2011/early 2012. Both were mediocre at best a lot of incomplete profiles, escorts and people hiding behind fake profiles asking for money. Nonetheless I found a wonderful woman on IE in early. I early 2013 I went back on and found some improvements but really not the value for money I was expecting. So when I began looking again I went on Ashley Madison for nearly a year, which was I found had not improved at all, in fact it was even worse. I received at least three contacts a week by escorts and messages from many other parts of the world except London. It actually works out being much more expensive than what you pay for because each message you send and receive they charge your account. I also found that AM places hidden boxes when you buy credits that you have to un tick. If not you will end up being charged for extra purchases you never indented to make. I've recently returned to IE (March 2015) and can't believe the wonderful selection of high quality women. The man to woman ratio is equal and I would say 95% all profiles are complete from real women who respond. If you're a man looking to do married dating or have an affair do it right and invest something value for money and you will really experience a return.

Many of the features of the site did not work for me, the 1 to 1 chat function is a good example, but this does not detract from the overall experience of the site. The ability to contact members is good and there is a good variety of active members from which you can choose to contact. An enhancement I would recommend they make is to add some more options to the basic search criteria especially smoker/non-smoker.

Over the past 5 years, I have used Illicit Encounters on 3 occassions. I had tried others sites like BeNaughty and Local Slags (terrible name! But I read a good review). Anyway, the number of men to women in these other sites seems to be about 10:1 or worse. Even if you have a lot to offer, the numbers are against you. The best thing about Illicit Encounters is the male to female ratio. It is about 60 - 40 as far as I can tell. If not closer to 50 - 50. Sure, it costs more than others. But it is well worth it just to have a chance to chat with women who are interested in finding a part-time boyfriend. My first time on IE I found a lovely girl and our affair lasted 3 years. The second time was a success too. That affair ended too soon, but I came back to IE and withing 1 month I am off on my 3rd affair. Had loads of conversatiosn and a few other dates on each occassion. My advice would be to be honest, original and funny with your profile and you will get lots of women contacting you. The Who's Online feature let's you see who you might fancy having an interractive chat with or get a more immediate response, with the right opening line! :) The browse and search features are good. BTW, the women get to join for free. So be aware. Some have been there a while and because it is free they may not take it too seriously. But there are plenty of women that do. Highly recommended. And this is a real recommentation by the way!

This is an excellent site for those that want an affair or a lot of affairs. There are a lot of very horny up market bored housewives on the site. I have personally satisfied over 30 of them in the last few years....for varying amounts of time. This site is expensive for men but if your looking for real fun you will find plenty. I've used IE for around 7 years now, on and off. It took over as the most active and successful site, in my mind, from Loving Links in around 2008. As a chap who has a very complicated and finely-balanced domestic life I find that IE fulfills all my requirements. I don't want a serious girlfriend, I don't want someone to interfere with my private life and I don't want someone who is not understanding of these things. I have subsequently found that IE does the job! OK, the down-sides - it's bloody expensive for men. Really, really expensive compared to other dating sites of whatever nature. But, and it's a huge but, this also means that the number of men there is massively reduced, so the competition is less. Also, as it's free for women there are the inevitable flakes, fakes and fools. There should be, in my opinion, a small charge for women. Not enough to deter the serious philanderer, but enough to stop the fakes. But overall it's a great site, the one I keep coming back to (I'm generally a short-term fling person - 6 months seems to be about it) and one I am sure I'll keep coming back to once or twice a year. The admin people are brilliantly helpful too!

I can't speak too highly of this site. I found it purely by accident but wow it works well! For the first time of this type of site I didn't feel I was being scammed and I started to receive responses from women prepared to meet within hours of getting started. The ratio men/women seems much more realistic and I already have a date booked. Have a go it's not the cheapest but you do get what you pay for... good luck!
