I was talking with a man who claimed he is a restaurant owner in Athens. However, he told me he doesn't speak any English. No matter what questions I asked him, including simply innocent questions, e.g. what his favorite food, color, music, activity are, he would ignore me for days. He always repeated the same message telling me to be well and have fun. His Greek is terrible and he does not use punctuation. I had other Greeks I know read his messages and they verified he is a fraud. He began love bombing me with terms of endearment from the moment I responded to his initial message to me. When he told me I was sweet because I said hello, I inquired as to what made me sweet, since all I had done was say hello and share where I am located, and I told him my first name. His response was to tell me that I wasn't just sweet, but I was very sweet. The irony is since Athens is a heavy tourist location, how does one operate a restaurant and not speak English or Greek for that matter, to serve their customers. I reported him to Eligible Greeks twice and they did nothing. I reported him to the Athens Police Department and to the US FBI and FTC and every reporting organization I can locate. He is a fraud, he refuses to answer questions and will make false and derogatory accusations to you the female because he knows you are suspicious. I have save the pictures he uses as I will post them everywhere online in the hope that the actual individual the photo belongs to will see them and be able to contact Eligible Greeks and have them remove this fraudulent profile. I would not recommend Eligible Greeks to any single female as 90% of the men are scammers, the other 10% are married looking for an affair. Find a site where your safety is truly valued and taken serious, Eligible Greeks is not it; they will gladly take your money for a subscription, but they will not take your complaints serious.
